Everything seems fantastic until you realize that you forgot to inquire about the things that truly matter: the price tag, Autopilot’s mutterings, and a paint job that is as dazzling as a star. The key lies in seeing past the flashy images and zero-to-six promise – get the facts.

First, the numbers.
Mileage is the simplest way to open the front. Longer car lifespans and less battery deterioration are typically associated with lesser mileage. Make a document request. Examine Tesla’s digital service logs for any indications of suspicious activity, such as unplanned hardware replacements or ignored maintenance. If something looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Outside: Take a walk along the path.
Drive slowly. Are all the panels aligned? The slightest misalignment might occasionally indicate previous repairs—possibly after a car accident or worse. Scratches, dings, and odd paint variances can all indicate repainting. Doors, hoods, and trunk lids ought to open and close smoothly. Tesla’s gap tolerances are ridiculed in some quarters, but if you see a door that takes pride in its next panel, you’ll understand why.

Battery Status: Don’t Pass This Up
